Upcoming Course: Survey of the Old Testament (part 1)
What are Christians today supposed to do with the Old Testament? In “Survey of the Old Testament” students at ESSA learn about the background and history of the Old Testament. The class week of part 1 of this course takes place from 15-19 April. In class, students will discuss the history of the world and of the Israelites from the time of creation until the end of King Solomon’s reign. Understanding this history and the cultural background, will lay a firm foundation for more advanced courses that delve deeper into the content of specific Old Testament books.
