Upcoming Course: Survey of the Old Testament
The courses “Survey of the Old Testament” form an introduction to the Old Testament. They focus on the content of the books that form the Old Testament, the historical background of these books, and their literary characteristics.
Part 2 will survey the historical, literary, cultural, and theological heritage in Israel from the fall of the monarchy until the end of the Old Testament period. The course will focus on the historical and prophetic books that cover this period in Israel’s history.
